The analysis is carried out by physically sending in the sample. Please send in several specimens (approx. 10–15). For optimal identification, it is best to send the insects as intact and alive as possible. After placing your order in the shop, you will receive a PDF form by email. Please complete it as fully as possible and include it with the shipment. Once received, your sample will be examined immediately. Depending on the pest, Dr. Pospischil may need to “prepare” it, which can sometimes take several days.

You will then receive a letter with the identification results, together with an attachment briefly describing the biology, damage pattern and, where applicable, control measures. The documents will be sent to you as PDF files.
