FAQ

Questions and answers about the product
1

Do I need proof of expertise for MUSKIL PR?

Yes. MUSKIL PR is approved exclusively for trained professional users. A valid certificate of competence is required for purchase. Not for private users.

2

What does “fluo” mean in MUSKIL PR?

FLUO-NP® technology makes bait and rodent droppings visible under UV light. This makes it easier to identify pathways, entry points, and areas of infestation.

3

How many portion sachets are placed at each bait station?

For mice, 30–50 g (2–3 sachets) and for rats, 60–80 g (4–5 sachets) are intended per bait point or burrow.

4

Do the 15-g sachets need to be opened?

No. The sachets are placed unopened. The rodents gnaw through the filter paper themselves.

5

How does brodifacoum work?

Brodifacoum is a second-generation anticoagulant and is effective after just one intake. Its effect is delayed.

6

How often do the bait stations need to be checked?

The first inspection is carried out no later than after the 5th day, followed by weekly inspections. Used bait is replaced and bait acceptance is documented.

7

Does MUSKIL PR need to be placed in a bait station?

Generally, the bait is placed in tamper-resistant, secured, and labeled bait stations. Exceptions are specified in the instructions for use.

8

How much MUSKIL PR does a bucket contain?

One bucket contains 5 kg of paste bait in 15 g sachets. This corresponds to approximately 333 sachets. The shelf life is 24 months from the production date.
