The double-sided, removable adhesive tape GT 702 is a professional barrier and monitoring tape for Integrated Pest Management (IPM). It is especially suitable for use in museums, archives, libraries, depots, and other sensitive areas where active ingredient-free, reversible, and material-friendly solutions are required.

Thanks to its special design with two differently adhesive sides, this product fundamentally differs from conventional double-sided adhesive tapes:
The underside is deliberately only weakly adhesive and allows for a reversible attachment on sensitive floor surfaces. For this, slowly peel off the adhesive tape at a 90° angle.

The top side is extremely sticky and is ideal for securely holding even small and light insects, even in the early nymph stage.

The adhesive tape is primarily used for establishing temporary barriers and quarantine zones. Within such zones, for example, controlled, cleaned, and uncontaminated archival materials, collection objects, or stored goods can be protected. The tape can also be used to specifically prevent the swarming of insects from infested areas.

Typical applications include covering pathways, laying closed barriers around pallets, securing aisles, cabinets, doorways, or room-by-room separation of individual areas. The roll form also allows long distances to be secured efficiently and without gaps.

The tape is primarily intended for use on floor surfaces. Use on walls or other vertical surfaces is not recommended, as – depending on the substrate, length of adhesion, and surface texture – a secure bond cannot be guaranteed.

The thin, highly stretchable film carrier adapts very well to uneven floors, edges, and curves and can be cut to any size. If needed, additional attractants can be placed on the adhesive surface. The yellow coloring ensures good visibility and facilitates later relocation and clean removal.

The double-sided adhesive tape is suitable for crawling insects of all kinds, such as silverfish, firebrats, booklice, beetle larvae, and similar species.
The product is active ingredient-free and is recommended by leading IPM experts.

Application note
This tape is preferably used for bonding on solid surfaces. Generally, the tape can be removed from most substrates without residue. However, since bonding duration, temperature exposure, humidity, and other external influences can significantly affect adhesion and removability, we generally recommend a test bonding.

Please perform these on the original substrates and under real application conditions. This applies especially to painted surfaces, untreated or oiled wood, natural stone, coated surfaces, and similarly sensitive materials.
